The 2016 Outer Critics Circle Nominations were announced this morning. The Outer Critics Circle is the first of the Broadway awards to announce nominations. Over the next week, nominations for the Drama League (4/20), Drama Desk (4/28), and Tony (5/3) Awards will be announced.

The Outer Critics Circle (OCC) is an organization made up of journalists from out-of-town and national papers who cover the New York theater scene. The organization provides a full list of its members online.

Winners will be announced Monday, May 9th, with awards being presented at the annual Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 26th at Sardi’s Restaurant.

Below is the list of nominations. Note that Hamilton is ineligible as it had been seen Off-Broadway last year, even though it stands to dominate the Tony Awards this year..
